About this year's Chefs for a Cause
Join Project Happy Feet in our 4th edition of Chefs for a Cause! Enjoy the creations of 14 notable chefs in one new location, all for a good cause! Come eat, drink and do good!
Held at the HUONE Singapore, an award-winning events venue located at the heart of Singapore River, the event aims to support education in Singapore and Cambodia.

80% of the proceeds from CFAC will be channelled to South East Community Development Council (SECDC) to set up a “School Life Fund”.

The South East School Life Fund would be used to help financially underprivileged students from mainstream primary and secondary schools go through school by supporting their needs at school, as well as underprivileged students attending special needs schools,  earn skills so they can make a living.

The remaining 20% will be donated to This Life Cambodia, towards supporting access to secondary school education in Siem Reap.

Chefs for a Cause is entirely sponsored by the participating chefs, sponsors and powered by volunteers from Project Happy Feet.

Lower Secondary School Development Programme

The Lower Secondary School Development Program (LSSDP) is a 3-year, proven model for school development which empowers communities in Cambodia to take ownership of their state school to drive improvements at the local level.

In Cambodia, only 44% of children complete Grade 9, and of those who do enrol in lower secondary school, 15% drop out early and go to work at a young age.

The LSSDP aims to combat this problem, working with schools, communities and students to improve school facilities, attract better teachers, and improve educational outcomes. The program also improves accessibility to schools by providing bicycles to students who live far from schools.

For more information about LSSDP, please visit the website.
