Lower Secondary School Development Programme

The Lower Secondary School Development Program (LSSDP) is a 3-year, proven model for school development which empowers communities in Cambodia to take ownership of their state school to drive improvements at the local level.

In Cambodia, only 44% of children complete Grade 9, and of those who do enrol in lower secondary school, 15% drop out early and go to work at a young age.

The LSSDP aims to combat this problem, working with schools, communities and students to improve school facilities, attract better teachers, and improve educational outcomes. The program also improves accessibility to schools by providing bicycles to students who live far from schools.

For more information about LSSDP, please visit the website.
